RESOURCES

Lesson Material: The lesson material for Children's Church is mailed to the parent that is doing for that week. Copies are made, so there is no need to return the material to the Director of Children and Youth Ministries Coordinator.

Arts and Crafts Supplies: A variety arts and crafts supplies such as markers, crayons, paintbrushes, scissors, construction paper etc. is stored in the cabinets down the hallway from the Children's Church meeting area, or in the white cabinets in the children's classroom.

Audio/Visual Equipment: The is a television and VCR as well as a CD and cassette player available for use in the church office.  Since these items are shared between the Sunday School, Children's Ministry and other ministries of the church, it's a good idea to contact the church office to reserve them prior to your scheduled Sunday.

ROUTINE

In order to provide some continuity from week to week, as well as help our children grow toward participation in the larger worship service, the Children's Ministry asks that you follow a simple routine for Children's Church:

1.  Song

2.  Lesson

3.  The Lord's Prayer

SCHEDULING

A copy of the rotation for Children's Church  is kept on the church website and printed monthly in The Steeple Newsletter. Also, the names of the team leaders are printed in the bulletin one week prior to their scheduled Sunday.  If you need to swap with someone, please do so and then notify Alison Short, the Education Chair or Kimberly Andresen, our director of children and youth.  It is important to let the church office know of any switching so the appropriate material can be mailed to the correct person!
